The United States has experienced an upsurge in incidents of racial violence and police brutality. Recent bombings of the World Trade Center and the federal building in Oaklahoma have brought some discourse on terrorism within our borders.

But terrorism is not new; many people in this country have lived in fear and have suffered from oppression.
